At the core of my work is my interest for the environment and its protection. Since doing a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science I have been interested in water quality and quantity. Prior to working in the UK, I have worked on water use in rice fields, in Italy. My work included both field work (digging soil, walking in flooded paddy fields), lab work (analyzing soils), and computer work. Nowadays I spend most of my time coding a model to determine the impact of agriculture (tillage, fertilizer use) on water quality.
